To be honest, at this point I don’t even know what to say anymore about our current political “situation,” so I guess I’ll let White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer do what he does best try and defend something President Trump has said.
Let’s flash back to early this morning when President Trump sent out this nonsensical tweet that launched a thousand jokes and utter confusion.
He eventually deleted the tweet and joked about the meaning of the made-up word, telling his followers to Enjoy!
Because, you know, it was a made-up word.
But if you ask Sean Spicer, it’s an actual word and Trump totally intended to use it.
Apparently we’re just not part of the small select group who are privy to what it might mean.
Dude could have just said that “covfefe” was meant to be “coverage” and it was a mistake. Trump makes lots of mistakes.
But nope, Spicer decided to declare that “covfefe” was some kind ofspecial code word, making things even worse.
Personally, I was just disappointed that he never tried to pronounce it, like we’ve all been trying to do since this morning.
As the tweet turns…we’ll see what turns up next.
